The purpose of this blog is to help both writers and potential clients alike to better define their relationships and improve their interactions. I feel there shouldn’t be any mystique around the writer-client relationship, and one way to encourage understanding is to openly discuss issues that writers and potential writing clients grapple with on a daily basis.
For potential clients, the goal of this blog is to help clients understand more about the writing process, how to get what they want from writers and how to hire the best writers for their projects. For writers, the goal of this blog is to discuss issues around the craft of writing and writing as a business. By discussing these sometimes-disparate topics here in the same place, I hope that both writers and potential clients can get an idea of the kinds of considerations the other party faces, and how best to meet in the middle for the benefit of all.
