Good list, impeccable ethics. Writing is different from the law: the ideal of giving every citizen full access to the law to accomplish legal objectives (even repugnant ones) means that the profession encourages lawyers to represent those with whom they share no common beliefs at all. But there is no right to communicate an opinion or message at a professional level, and a writer can and should exercise discretion regarding the use of his or her skills.
